THE PERSON BEHIND BDC

A career in making
things happen.

I’m Patrick Burns. I served in U.S. Air Force Security Forces from 2011 to 2013. After leaving the military, my professional path took me into music, touring, lasers, and live production.

My background includes work for Excision and a range of live projects. It’s work that brings technical problem-solving together with a creative result: the systems behind what an audience sees and hears.

That curiosity carries into programming. I build tools around questions I run into myself, then put them here so other people can use them too. I’m also exploring practical uses for AI, including running it locally, and making the technology feel more approachable through useful projects.

Outside those projects, I create videos and livestream on YouTube as Just Pat Playin. Gaming, collecting, and conversations with viewers are another part of the same story.

Burns Data Center is my home for all of it. The name sounds like a major operation. Behind it is one person, following an idea and seeing where it goes.
